One month old today!

Today is Tyler's one month birthday. We won't have an official weight and height until tomorrows Dr's appt, but we did an at home weight check and came up with 9lbs 14ozs. So that's 1lb and 4ozs more then when he was born. It's amazing how much he is changing each day.


We had a great day today. Tyler and Mom went to their second Mommy and Me meeting.....Tyler was a bit fussy while we were there but we made it through. The afternoon was a different story. Tyler was a little angel and slept most of the afternoon away, allowing Mommy to organize and cleanup the house a little bit.

After snoozin in the swing and on Mommy for a while he decided it was time to try out the couch.

Today I spent the afternoon going through Tyler's dresser sorting out what no longer fits. Here is a bin filled with his newborn clothes. He is only one month (his one month birthday picture to follow) and he has already outgrown so many of his clothes. Mommy is very sad :(

Proud to be an American!

We took a trip to the Smith resort today (aka Alex's parents house) for a 4th of July celebration. We had a nice little day hanging out by the pool and just enjoying the weather. Tyler was so good sleeping the majority of the time we were there, giving Mom and Dad the chance to swim and relax in the sun for a while. Tyler had a little photo shoot with his cousin Sophia while we were there too.....they both looked so adorable in there 4th of July outfits!

Fun at Grammy and Pop Pops

We made the trip upstate again this weekend and had a great time. Tyler, Grammy and Mom took a trip to Saratoga on Saturday during the day. We did a little shopping, walking around town and hanging out at the park....with some emergency diaper changes intertwined throughout these events! We even got to enjoy a nice lunch out since our little boy was being so good! Tyler really enjoyed himself and loved lying around Congress Park taking everything in.






Saturday night we all hungout at Grammy and Pop Pops. Tyler got cuddle time with everyone.....giving Mommy and Daddy a little bit of a break.

Busy week

This week has been an eventful week for us. We are slowly getting up and around and making more out of our days(even when some of the nights are really really long!).

Tuesday Tyler and Mom went to their very first Mommy and Me meeting. It was great! Mommy met a lot of other moms that live in the area and Tyler got to meet a lot of new little friends. It will be fun going on walks with all the new moms and babies.

Wednesday Danielle and Farrah came to visit. It was nice getting to spend the day getting tips from Danielle on the going on's of a new mom and introducing Tyler and his little girlfriend. It was a great day and will be so much fun watching Tyler and Farrah grow up together!



We are up for another exciting weekend this weekend. Our second road trip upstate! Last weekend was a success so fingers crossed we will have as much luck this time around.
