Happy Halloween!

MONKEY MAN!!! (Thanks for my costume Aunt Leenie)

Today is Tyler's first Halloween outing. While he's too young to be out trick or treating, we still wanted to get him all dressed to partake in the holiday fun! We headed over to Swan and Al's for the day to attend the baby parade. Starr and Eric came over as well with their new addition Miles and we attempted at getting our boys together for a Halloween picture!

Andy, Tyler and Miles all lined up for their photo shoot. The Mommies trying very hard to get a good picture of these three...not all that successfully.

Aunt Kendy and Uncle Chris come to visit

Aunt Kendy and Uncle Chris came over on Friday night to spend some time with Tyler (oh and his parents too!). As always our little boy was spoiled with lots of hugs and kisses and some fun new toys too! It was a great night. We can't wait for the holidays so we can spend lots of time with the family.

Papa is here!

Papa was in town last weekend and Tyler got to spend some quality time with him. We headed over early in the afternoon and Tyler did lots of playing, smiling and talking (with eating and naps mixed in there too). He even showed off his new skills of eating cereal! It was a nice day and we can't wait for Grandma and Papa to come back at the end of November.

It's exersaucer time

Tyler had his first experience in the exersaucer today! While mommy and daddy were putting together Tyler's new toy he was smiling patiently waiting with tons of excitement. The fun only continued once he got inside. He was swatting and pulling at everything and loving every second of it!

Look at me....loving my new toy!

Standing up like a big boy!

Just playing away

Aunt Leenie comes to visit

Aunt Leenie got here just in time to give Tyler some kisses and cuddles before bedtime.

Aunt Leenie just hating having Tyler Bear all to herself.

Aunt Leenie came to spend a few night before her business trip and got lots of snuggle time with our little Tyler Bear. Leenie loved every moment of it especially because she did not have to share the T-man with anyone (other then mommy and daddy of course). It was a great weekend and we loved having Aunt Leenie come for a visit.

Our first attempt at cereal

Yummy...doesn't that look delicious....

Tyler is not so sure about this stuff.

Still thinking about it....

Yeah I don't think so.

Tyler had his first experience with cereal last week. It was an exciting day! He was very confused at first.... not really understanding why mommy was shoving a spoon into his mouth and why he was getting something to eat through something other then a bottle. Needless to say the first feeding was not much of a feeding but more of a face painting exercise...and he wasn't all that interested in it. But as the days have gone on our little man has learned to love it.

Daddy's favorite thing after a long day at work.......

Apple Picking

Tyler had his first trip to the apple orchard. After a fun night with Tim & Melissa we all went apple picking together. Tyler was not all that interested in the picking of the apples....but he did score himself a nice big apple to snuggle with while we walked. It was a beautiful day and it just gets us excited for years to come where Tyler will be running through the orchard exhausting mommy and daddy.

4 month check-up

Tyler had his 4-month check-up on Friday. Our little man was a very good boy playing while we waited over an hour for our dr. He even showed off a new skill and rolled over from his back to his belly for the first time. Everything went just great....well that is until the dr came in and did her exam and gave him his shots :(. He was not a happy camper by the time we left. But overall the appointment went well, Tyler is doing great and is progressing well. Our next big step is starting cereal. We are very excited to see how our little boy does! Here are his stats as of 4 months.

Weight 13lbs 15oz (50th percentile)
Height 26.25 inches (70th percentile)
Head Circumference 41cm (70th percentile)

Trip to the Norman House

We headed over to the Norman house this past Friday for a night of fun. Tyler and Lily got a little hangout time and once the kids were in bed the parents had a great night together like the pre-baby days.

Grammy & Pop Pop come to visit

This past weekend Grammy & Pop Pop came to visit. They hadn't seen their little Tyler Bear in a few weeks and needed a fix. We had a great weekend hanging out around the house, taking a nice walk to the park and watching Tyler do all his little tricks. Mom and Dad even got a few hours away and went out to Lily Normans 1st birthday (we decided against bringing the little man because of his fever the previous day). It was a great weekend and with each day Tyler got back to his normal self, except for his continued hunger strike (which went away come Monday when he started scarfing down food again!)

Getting all bundled up for our walk....Tyler just looking handsome in his little hat.

Booo for being sick

Friday was a tough day. Our little Tyler Bear went home sick from daycare. After a call from daycare letting us know that our little boy had a tempature, Daddy rushed him off to the doctor. After a number of tests Tyler was sent home with no real diagnosis of what caused the fever, just instructions to give advil if the fever continues.

Mommy I don't feel well :(

Poor little guy just wasn't himself and it broke Mommy and Daddy's heart. But just as every experienced parent said...it's just a fever and he will be better in a matter of hours.....he was. He may not have been 100% but we were able to get a few smiles out of our little man.

Here he is back in action after some advil and a looooong nap!

A big week of change!!

Well it was a big week this week. Mommy went back to work :(

Monday was a tough day for Mom, she was up early all showered and dress just waiting for her little man to wake up to spend some time with him before her looooong day away from him. We got just few minutes together before she had to run off for the train. Walking back into work was strange and normal all at the same time. I felt like I had never left, except for the fact that I had this aching feeling missing my little man :(. Tuesday was even tougher for mom but with each day that went buy it became more of a routine. Now we will just cherish the few hours we get at night and the weekends!

Mommy getting some snuggle time with her little man before heading in for her first day back.

Just chillin after a long day!

Having fun with daddy watching baseball.
