Mommy's Birthday party

While we were upstate we went over to Aunt Leenie and Uncle Brian's for a dinner celebration for Mommy. It was a great night, which included lots of smiles from our little boy and lots of smiles from Mommy because of everyone's generosity. We had a nice family dinner which included our little Miss Sophia and Mr Tyler sitting at the head of the table during dinner. Too cute not to share!!

Christmas Round III

After two fun filled days of Christmas in NJ we headed upstate to celebrate with the Onyon side of the family. We left Christmas night with our boy snoozing for the majority of the ride and then up and ready to rage upon our arrival at Grammy and Pop Pop's. After some playing and lots of snuggles and kisses he was off to bed for a big day of Christmas fun ahead of him.

We were up and at em early with lots of presents to open. Tyler was having a ball helping opening presents and chewing everything he could get his hands on. Once again Tyler was spoiled with lots of presents! After a fun morning of opening presents and playing, we headed off to the Gallant family Christmas party where we got to show off our little boy to the entire family. It was a great few days.

Tyler's First Christmas/Round II

Well it came and went too quickly....but we enjoyed every moment of our first Christmas morning with our little boy. We woke up early (mainly because Tyler is in the habit of waking up around 5 these days). So we laid in bed with our little boy for a while then headed downstairs to open gifts. Obviously Tyler didn't really know what was going on, but he loved taking anything that he could get his hands on and shoving it in his mouth. It was a great morning and it made us very excited for years to come and the start of our Christmas morning traditions.

Just getting my fill of some morning brew

Nothing better then some snuggle time with his boy.

Dad this sucks...it's clothes...where are the toys.

That's more like it!

This toy is great I can play with it and eat it!

Christmas Round I

We started the beginning of our Christmas extravaganza with the Weiler/Wander side of the family. We headed over to Aunt Chris & Uncle Larry's for Christmas Eve and Christmas day....stuffed ourselves silly and enjoyed lots of family time. Tyler had a blast spending time with everyone showing off his new set of pearly whites every opportunity he got. He got to spend lots of time with his cousin Kathryn and finally got to meet Uncle Mike and cousin Jordan. Of course Tyler was spoiled rotten by everyone and loved every second of it!

Tyler meets Santa....he's pretty amazed by his big white fluffy beard

First attempt at a cousin picture....they were somewhat cooperative but can't say I captured a great cousin moment picture this time!

Second attempt in their Christmas morning attire....Kathryn was very nice to her cousin sharing toys and giving kisses.

6 Months Old

Our baby boy is already 6 months old! Lots of change over the past 6 months. Some tid bits on Tyler;

- has his two front bottom teeth (with more pushing through any day now)
- rolls from back to front and front to back
- sits up unsupported
- eats breakfast (cereal and fruit) and dinner (cereal and veggies)
- loves to look out the front windows at the cars going by
- does this weird double jointed thing with his thumb where he completely bends it backwards
- loves to play peekaboo and the look away game
- loves to play with red solo cups (future flip cup star I think so!)
- is a nosey body who will not eat or sleep if there is anything going on around
him
- has a smile that just melts your heart
- makes Mommy and Daddy understand the meaning of loving someone so much it hurts

Happy 6 month birthday baby boy!!!

More tree decorating...

Off we go again...to Aunt Leenie and Uncle Bry Guys for the annual Onyon/Rickert/Smith tree decorating party. We had lots of fun helping setup Al & Ub's tree in their beautiful new home! Tyler took part in all kinds of family fun....

Silly boy!

Tyler's first tree decorating!

The holiday season has kicked into high gear. After a fun few days upstate after Thanksgiving we headed home to get the house in order for the Christmas season. Grandma and Papa came over to take part in Tyler's first tree decorating. Tyler loved looking at lights and all the pretty ornaments.

Tyler Christening

Here are some pictures from Tyler's Christening. I know they are late but they were too cute not to post! Thanks Aunt Leenie and Aunt Laura!

Had to share this amazing shot (thanks Aunt Leenie!)

Even with our boy not feeling well and running a tempature he still was able to give us a smile for a Onyon family photo!

Here come the teeth

As I previously mentioned Tyler's teeth have surfaced. Grammy discovered Tyler's new bottom front left tooth on Thanksgiving morning! Don't forget Grammy Tyler wants a pair of Manolo Blahnik (size 9.5). With the second one coming in come Sunday morning. The first tooth didn't seem like such a tough go, but since then we have been having a tough time with our little man. Hoping that once these bottom two are fully in we'll get a bit of break until the next round of teeth start pushing their way through!

I haven't been all that successful in getting a great picture but this is the best I could do.

Lots going on

The past few weeks have been craziness....Tyler's Christening, Thanksgiving, appearance of teeth, break in sleep schedule, the list goes on and on. Just a lot going on in the world of Tyler, and even more going on in the world outside of Tyler. Needless to say it's been exhausting and Mamma has been falling behind on updates. Here is a recap;

Tyler had his Christening on November 21st. It was a great day with lots of family and friends to join in celebrating Tyler becoming one with God! Unfortunately since I was so crazy running around getting things setup I didn't take one single picture of him all dressed up looking handsome in his white suit (that's where I rely on Tyler's Aunties!). I did however get a few shots of Tyler and his cousins. We are still struggling to get a good picture with him and his cousins but someday we'll get there.

Thanksgiving was a great holiday. Tyler had lots of fun visiting with family, many of which he hasn't seen since he was a few months old. Needless to say he was spoiled rotten, getting lots of hugs and kisses from all. Our boy was very good all day and looked super handsome in his Thanksgiving getup.
